If I set the AA internally up to max (8x) my frame rate drops to the teens from the low 30s. When I turn down the internal settings and set the cards to the (16 x) on the ant-aliasing my video does not look as good as when I am running a 4 x anti-aliasing from inside the program. I have a GTX980 video card and would like to use more of the cards capability rather than slowing down the sim using higher higher internal graphic settings. How do these settings work with the graphic settings inside the x-plane program? Can someone please explain the difference between the Enhance the application setting and the Override setting for the anti-aliasing mode in the Nvidia control panel.
