The game was mired in a lot of negative public feedback after it was revealed that toddlers and pools, two standard features in every previous Sims title, would not be in the game at release. The Sims 4 is no stranger to controversy, though. The diehard fans quickly shoot down any complaints brought up and continually reiterate how the Newcrest content is free. Of course, people complaining about business practices on the official Sims website is not the best place to do so. There's a lot of positive feedback for the free content, but there's also a lot of people who are kind of ticked off that a lot of the focus on The Sims 4 is about selling microtransactions. You can also find rooms and furniture as well.ĮA and Maxis designed The Sims 4 where gamers can modify rooms with accessories and designs and completely put them right into the house without having to making a lot of other micro-modifications like in the previous Sims games.
The Gallery doesn't just start and end at houses, though.
The Gallery is designed to house custom houses as well as developer-designed houses, and gamers can go in, find something they like and plop it down into their neighborhood. Not only will the new content feature empty lots for building but there have been some new houses added to the game's Gallery.
